SIMET Mobile is the Internet Traffic Measurement System for mobile devices, that is, it is an application that allows you to test the quality of your Internet through your smartphone.
With SIMET Mobile you can:

- Know the latency (ping) of your network
- Know the loss of packets
- Know the jitter of your network
- Know how the quality of the Internet is in each location you tested
- To know how is the quality of other operators anywhere in Brazil
- Know the places where there was an error in your test
- Knowing advanced information about the signal of your cell phone
SIMET is the only system that lets you know the quality of your Internet using technologies that prevent your provider from masking the results.
Its results will be used by the Internet Steering Committee in Brazil to generate a map to know how the quality of the Brazilian Internet is.
All tests are done outside your carrier's network. No other Internet quality measurement application gives this feedback to the Brazilian community.
****** Tips on how to do a more accurate test ******
- Close all other applications on your phone. This avoids problems that impair the progress of the test.
- Check the filters on your WIFI network. SIMET Mobile does not use HTTP traffic for the tests. Filters, as well as the use of caches, can cause problems in running the tests. This technique used by SIMET is one of the reasons why the test results are not mocked by the operators
- If you are testing via 3G, look for a location where you have good 3G signal strength. If the quality is very poor, the test may not be completed.
